Angular Separation

Alcyone Ephemeris can calculate angular separations between the positions of selected bodies and the position of a reference object (the sun, moon, a planet or a fixed star), chosen from the Reference object drop-down list. Angular separations are calculated as the spherical distances between positions of the centers of the bodies. If Correction for refraction is selected in the Refraction dialog the calculation of topocentric angular separations will take refraction into account.
