Formatting

The values shown in the ephemeris can be formatted in different ways. Select Ephemeris -> Formatting from the main menu.

In the appearing Formatting dialog the following settings are available:

Angles can be formatted as Sexagesimal or Decimal values

Right ascension (equatorial coordinates) can be formatted as Hours or Degrees; if decimal angle formatting was chosen it is always formatted as degrees

Phase of the moon and planets can be formatted as decimal (to 0.0001) or percent (to 0.1%)

Velocity can be formatted as kilometers per second (km per second) or astronomical units per day (AU per day)

Moon's distance can be formatted in Astronomical units, Kilometers, or Earth radii

the form of Date / time in the ephemeris field can be chosen as Date and time (e.g. 2005-08-21 20:35:00), as Date only (e.g. 2005-08-21), as Time only (e.g. 20:35:00), or as a decimal Year number (e.g. 2005.635)

the form of Date / time in the ephemeris field can be chosen as Date and time (e.g. 2005-08-21 20:35:00), as Date only (e.g. 2005-08-21), as Time only (e.g. 20:35:00), or as a decimal Year number (e.g. 2005.635)

if delta T is selected to appear in the ephemeris as additional information, it can be formatted as Seconds or as hours, minutes, and seconds (HH:MM:SS).

Click OK and all Formatting selections are retained and used for ephemeris calculation.
