The Parametric Plot Settings Dialog

The Parametric Plot settings dialog is for controlling the plot's appearance. Select Parametric Plot->Plot settings from the main menu. The Parametric plot settings dialog appears. It contains four pages:

General

The general plot settings are the color of the plot's background, which can be chosen from the Background color drop-down list and an option for preserving the aspect ratio of the plot. If Preserve aspect ratio is checked, both axes of the plot will match in range and size.

Axes

These settings control the appearance of the plot's axes. Choose the number of labels from the lists. If vertically and/or horizontally grid lines should be shown in the plot, check the corresponding boxes and select its color and style from the drop-down lists.

Series

Use this page to change the appearance (line color, thickness, data point markers) of the data series by choosing the desired settings from the drop-down lists.

Check the box Detect 360° to prevent line drawing when a value (X- and Y-axis) passes 360° = 0°.

Labels

To label data points with the corresponding time statements check Show labels. Select the label color and label format from the corresponding lists.

Enter the labeling frequency in the field Frequency. For instance, to label each data point enter '1', to label each fifth data point enter '5',  to label each tenth data point enter '10' etc.
