The Plot Settings Dialog

The XY-Plot settings dialog is for controlling the plot's appearance. Select Plot->Plot settings from the main menu. The Plot settings dialog appears. It contains five pages:

 

General

The general plot settings are the color of the plot's background, which can be chosen from the Background color drop-down list and an option to show or hide the plot's legend, which is shown in the upper right corner of the plot, if selected.

Series

To change the appearance (line color, style, thickness, data point markers) of the data series' lines click the button ... . Choose the settings from the drop-down lists in the appearing Series dialog. Click OK and the XY-plot settings dialog will show a preview of the series line's appearance.

 

X-axis

These settings control the appearance of the plot's x-axis. Choose the number of labels and the label format from the lists. If vertically grid lines should be shown in the plot, check the box Show grid lines and select the color and style of the grid line from the corresponding drop-down lists.

 

Sec. Y-axis

These settings control the appearance of the plot's primary (left) y-axis. Choose the number of labels to be shown. If horizontally grid lines should be shown in the plot, check the box Show grid lines and select the color and style of the grid line from the corresponding drop-down lists.

Sec. Y-axis

These settings control the appearance of the secondary (right) y-axis. Choose the number of labels to be shown. If horizontally grid lines should be shown in the plot, check the box Show grid lines and select the color and style of the grid line from the corresponding drop-down lists.
