
In September 7 B.C. Jupiter and Saturn were in opposition with the sun with a time difference of about 1 day (Saturn: -6-09-14, Jupiter: -6-09-15). Thus, a triple conjunction between these planets occured in 7 B.C. (-6-05-29, -6-09-30, and -6-12-06). The graph below shows the geocentric longitudes of Jupiter (blue line) and Saturn (green line) and the angular separation between both planets (thick red line). The minimum separation is about 1 degree (-6-10-01).
